Black Diaspora Orchestra Memorial Concert for Milwaukee & Waukesha's Missing and Departed Children: A concert of Lullabies and Dirge

The Black Diaspora Symphony Orchestra will present three new pieces of music. The first is a piece based on the meaning of the Pan African Flag. The second piece is Coretta Scott King's 1986 letter to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee set to music. The last piece is a musical portrait of Civil Rights leader and Black Gay man Bayard Rustin.

A pre-concert lecture will be held at 4:00pm discussing the three pieces of music. The concert will begin at 5:00pm.

The concert is free and open to the public.
