Once a year The Black String Triage Ensemble holds the Open Rehearsal for the community to come and experience the music of The Black String Triage Ensemble.
The event is free and open to the public. Seating is open and on a first come first serve basis. We do encourage attendees to post to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter during The Black String Triage Ensemble’s open rehearsal. However in order not to distract the musicians, the conductor or other listeners, we do ask that you silence your electronic devices. Talking and flash photography during the Open Rehearsal is not permitted.
Copies of the program notes (a listing of what pieces of music The Black String Triage Ensemble will be playing and why those pieces were chosen) will be available on a first come first serve basis. We do ask that those whom attend the open rehearsal share copies of the program notes if there are not enough copies to go around.
Because The Black String Triage Ensemble only plays in the immediate aftermath of tragic events (The Black String Triage Ensemble does not do concerts, memorials, civic events, religious events, or funerals) we invite people to leave a donation so that The Black String Triage ensemble can continue its work.
Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at the Open Rehearsal!
